Once your character has been accepted, you will be given a bank account. This includes a personal forum which lists your money and possessions. You will be PMed a six digit PIN which you will use to access your account. Admins and shop owners will also have access. The minimum income changes with your country.

Germany - 350 RM
Poland - 700 Złoty
Japan - 504,000 Yen
England - 2,800 Pounds
Italy - 252,000 Lira
France - 7,000 Francs

Those listed above are the minimum incomes. Once a month this amount will be added to your account. Ten dollars (or the equivalent) will be added for every ten posts you make. Better jobs, also, will give you a higher income. This income will be decided when you get the job.
