You walk up to the pokemon lab only to find what looks to be a stray pokemon standing next to the door. The Kangaskhan pulls a bulky package out of her large pocket and hands it to you. Quickly, you open the package. Inside there is the following:

Dear Trainer,
Welcome! I am Professor Dahlia, and this is my pokemon laboratory. This is where you come to find out how to start your journey and which pokemon I currently have available as starters. Unlike my predecessors, my lab has many more pokemon than were available in previous generations, which gives trainers such as yourself more opportunities when you are first starting off. Let me introduce you to the starting roster:

Inside this package you will find everything you need to start your journey! I'm sorry I couldn't be here to start you on your way, but a pressing issue came up that I cannot hope to ignore. I hope you will forgive my absence. I have inclosed written instructions on where to go and what to do as a new trainer. Good luck!
To start your journey, you must first post in the New Trainer forum, which I trust you can find without my guidance. There, you will post which pokemon you want to become your first partner, as well as which gender and what name they will have. (Some pokemon images may not yet be available.) Once your profile has been editted by a moderator, you can make your first post in your home town of Aspen Town. Most of the time, a staff will immediately begin moderating your journey as a trainer. The only time this may not begin immediately is when the moderators are busy or sick. Because we have only two moderators, this problem may or may not persist due to sickness and/or busy lives. I trust that you will understand that the people who run this RPG have lives of their own to run as well, so please be patient. Thank you for your time. I hope you enjoy your stay at PTS!
